Multimedia performance, 2017

Using live-animation, found audio and media, and archival ephemera, a series of short vignettes are performed with sound compositions by Nancy Tam. The project was originally conceived through a Media Art and Performance Series called Bearing Witness commissioned by Media Net in Victoria, B.C. The performance works through archival images and objects that remain of my paternal grandmother who owned a berry farm in Walnut Grove before WWII and the internment of Japanese Canadians on the west coast.
